MYFUNDBOX
MYFUNDBOX is the pay-once Chargebee alternative — subscription billing, dunning, and a customer portal without the percent-of-revenue bill
Automate recurring invoices, retries, and renewals across fixed, usage-based, and tiered plans, give customers a self-service portal, and watch MRR and churn on one dashboard — on a lifetime deal instead of a billing platform that takes a cut of everything you collect.
The pitch: subscription billing platforms charge you like a tax — a percentage of everything you bill, forever, on top of what the card processor already takes. MYFUNDBOX is a subscription-management layer that sits on your existing payment gateways (cards, PayPal, bank transfers and SEPA) and does the recurring part: fixed, usage-based, tiered and hybrid plans, automated invoicing, reminders and renewals, smart retry logic for failed payments, a self-service portal where customers pause, upgrade or cancel themselves, and a live dashboard for MRR, churn and customer lifetime value. The vendor's own regular pricing runs €199/mo for the Professional plan and €499/mo for Advanced, with a free tier that flips to 0.75% per transaction once you cross €25k in cumulative revenue. The lifetime tiers here are keyed to a monthly revenue cap instead.
The bill it replaces: Chargebee is free until $250k of lifetime billing and then takes 0.75% of everything, or $599/mo on the Performance plan. Stripe Billing is 0.7% of volume pay-as-you-go. On $20k of monthly revenue, those percentages are $140–150 a month — every month — for the recurring logic alone.
Why we picked it
- Percent-of-revenue billing is the worst kind of subscription. It grows exactly as fast as you do. A billing layer bought once, with a revenue cap you can see, turns a scaling tax into a fixed cost — the right shape for an indie SaaS or a coaching/membership business.
- Dunning is where the money hides. Failed-card recovery is the most valuable feature in any billing tool, and it's usually gated behind the expensive plans. Smart retries plus reminders are included here; the vendor's "recovers up to 30% of lost revenue" is a vendor claim, but the mechanism is real.
- The customer portal is the support-ticket killer. Letting people change plans, update cards and cancel without emailing you is the difference between billing that runs itself and billing that runs you.
Watch out for
- You are putting your revenue rails on a lifetime deal. This is the one category where vendor longevity matters most: if a billing vendor disappears, every subscription you have stops collecting. The saving grace is architecture — MYFUNDBOX runs on top of your gateways, so the card tokens and the money live at Stripe/PayPal/your bank, not with the vendor. Still: export customers and plans regularly, and use the 30-day refund window to run a real billing cycle end to end before migrating anything.
- "Lifetime" has a monthly revenue cap. Third-party writeups map the entry tier to roughly $50k of revenue per month and one user, with higher tiers raising both. That cap is the spec. Buy the tier for the revenue you'll actually bill, and confirm the exact mapping on the live Dealify page — it may differ from the AppSumo-style "stack 3 codes" structure other sites describe.
- 0% transaction fees means the vendor's cut, not the processor's. Stripe's ~2.9% + 30¢, PayPal's fees and SEPA costs are untouched. If you were comparing against Paddle's all-in 5% + 50¢, remember Paddle is a merchant of record that handles sales tax and VAT for you; MYFUNDBOX is not, so tax compliance stays your job.
- EU-flavored product. The vendor is European and the regular pricing is in euros, which is a plus for SEPA and VAT-aware invoicing — but US sellers should confirm their gateway list and currency handling before relying on it.
- Not a Dealify exclusive despite the page title. It also sells on AppSumo, DealFuel and others with their own tiers and refund windows. Compare terms before you buy.
